stocks, management of the production orders, to the collecting of shop
floor data through shop floor terminals and automatic data acquisition, the planning of the production orders -

Much is said about the IE7, but which are the advantages of using this
navigator?
There are many advantages in migrating from version 6 to 7, especially in two
basic points, Security and Interface. Internet Explorer 7 helps keeping your
information safe, by alerting you of potential phishing sites — sites
that seem legitimate, but are in fact conceived to obtain your personal
information. It is also easier to see which sites allow safe data exchanges,
so that you can effect online purchases and bank transactions with
confidence. Internet Explorer 7 makes use of a new interface that shows more
of the web page it visits. The toolbar has a simple design, which makes it
easier to add websites to your favorites, to search the web, to
clean the historic and to have access to the tasks and tools that you use
most.
Is SISTRADE® Print already available for the IE7? Which are the
advantages and disadvantages?
The use of the most recent version of the Internet Explorer is not only necessary, it is almost an obligation for any software manufacturer that presents its product in a web platform, because in this situation it is always Microsoft who determines the way. As a disadvantage there is only the fact that the users have to get used to the new interface. But I see as great advantages the fact that a larger area of visualization is available to sail in the
SISTRADE® Print, because there is a better organization of the "menu bar", as well as being able to use the application in a single window.
We are in a phase of transition of Operative Systems, and with the appearance of the Vista as the distribution system of the new pc's and, using Vista the IE7, we had obviously got to effectuate the respective alterations in the
SISTRADE® Print to support this Browser.
Is SISTRADE® Print safer and faster with IE7?
According to some tests, SISTRADE® Print is faster, especially in options that require great amounts of calculations, for instance estimating and planning. As for the safety, because our solution is a portal, we inherit all the safety properties that the Browser can offer.
What kind of necessary minimum requirements does the user need to execute the IE7?
The requirements are the same that were necessary for users with the IE6. There is no need to make any upgrade in your PC, you only have to go to www.microsoft.com and make the free download of the IE7.
