The Sistrade® Print Solutionis the application proposed by SISTRADE to support the Graphical Arts and Printing & Packaging Industries in its needs at the information systems level. This is an application developed by SISTRADE’S engineers and development staff, based on Microsoft tools, such as, InterDev, Visual Basic, HTML, Java Script, among others; the database used is MS SQL Server /MS SQL 2005 Server; the most adequate operative system for the server is MS Windows 2000 or 2003 Server. The application’s interface is completely web oriented, i.e., it is available through an Internet Browser, which allows, if the customer wants to, to access it anywhere in the world, providing that there is an Internet connection.
Sistrade® Print is a fully customizable application and open to new features; the access ismade through a login and a password. An account must be given to each user as well as an access level, so that one can use the system. The access levels of each user will be studied during the project development and the customer is able to do changes at any time through the “Administration” menu.
Technology
In terms of technology, the Sistrade® Print is based in the most recent information Technologies and it uses, for DBMS, the Microsoft® SQL Server 2005.
We remark the following characteristics:
– Vertical Software (ERP – Enterprise Resource Planning) for Printing and Packaging Industry.
– Portuguese Software, natively 100% WEB/Internet since 2001. The application interfaces are entirely run in an Internet browser.
– It uses the relational database management system Microsoft SQL Server 2005 (standard, easy to use and strong).
– Minimum demands at hardware and software level, either for the server or for user PC’s.
– Intuitive , friendly interface and very rich functionalities.
– Biometrics Authentication (optional).
SQL Server 2005 Data Base
This is a relational data base management system which optimizes the IT environments, since it delivers a more secure and reliable data analysis and management platform. SQL Server 2005 offers fundamental enhancements in information warehousing technology for cooperative users and allows companies and organizations to add value and:

Reporting Services All the application reports are produced in a recent and innovative tool named Microsoft® Reporting Services. In this way, users can visualize the reports available in the system in different formats, namely, in HTML, in Excel, in PDF, in XML, in CSV, among others.
The Reporting Services is an open and extendable solution with a flexible architecture which allows users to explore new reports with integration with the existing data in SQL Server.
Web-oriented Being a web-oriented application, it allows to access information from anywhere in the world as long as there is an Internet connection and an Internet Explorer browser.
The software licensing is made in a per company and per server basis, which means that regarding users, the Access is unlimited. Thus the organization can record, without limits, the users that will Access the application.
