Symington orders Sistrade® Management System
BdoisB® in the O'Porto Wine Industry

The Symington family is involved in the Porto Wine industry for over 100 years. Beyond producing Porto Wine, such as Graham's, Warre's, Dow's, they also produce table wines from Douro such as, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Francesa, etc. One of the most recent investments was the production of Madeira's Wine - Blandy's.

Recently their interests have expanded, investing on new technologies to become more productive and competitive. Thus, Symington ordered to Sistrade a Production Control system.

In a first stage they are going to implement Sistrade® Shop Floor Control with a Data Collect system. With these modules, Symington obtains, online and in real time, a graphical monitoring of the production, as well as a control of all ongoing work orders in the several production lines. All this with the help of a data collect system based on industrial bar code terminals and automation.
