One more order of a business-to-business
project from a DECOVIZ Holding company. This will be an electronic
marketplace restricted to DECOVIZ customers, for them to choose
the available products and record their orders through the
internet channel and at the same time they can perform a stock
consultation. Among the several available features we remark
the tool that allows to simulate the application of a given
tissue in a given scenery.
Decoviz thus gives its customers (stores and retailers) the
possibility, at any time and anywhere, to place their pre-orders,
consult the available stock for a given product, as well as,
to follow the status of their requests.
Fábrica Têxtil de Vizela, S.A. was created in
January 20, 1935, by Mr. João Pereira Magalhães.
Initially, it was a weaving factory with 6.000 employees.
In 1939 weaving sections were created with 60 looms, together
with the dyeing section. In the years ahead other departments
were created and more machines installed. In the middle 50's
200 new looms were acquired, being the first portuguese company
to install an automatic loom. Nowadays, the Teviz Holding
is constituted by 5 companies, namely, Tevitom, Decoviz, Arte,
Tevyz and Teviz itself.
