Socigene was founded in 1991, in the beginning it focused on marketing its products in the district of Coimbra, year by year, however it extended its position in the domestic market. Trevipapel was founded in 1999 with the purpose to process part of the products marketed by Socigene, starting to produce napkins and hand towels. Socigene/Trevipapel development strategy relates to the focus on diversifying the range of products always produced with quality and best price.
