PACKAGING PRINTING

Founded in 1999 in Bulgaria as an advertising company, Nepedoni quickly transitioned to in-house printing to ensure quality control. Over time, it specialized in corrugated and folding carton packaging, investing in advanced machinery and growing to around 150 employees.

In 2024, Nepedoni joined forces with Sistrade, leveraging its industry expertise and smart software solutions to gain real-time cost insights, streamline production, and optimize prepress operations — reinforcing its position at the forefront of Bulgaria’s packaging market.

Nepedoni Elevates Packaging Excellence with Sistrade

Founded in 1999 in Bulgaria as an advertising business, Nepedoni quickly transitioned to printing due to quality control challenges with external suppliers. Initially operating second-hand machinery, Nepedoni evolved significantly by shifting focus to packaging - particularly corrugated and folding carton packaging.

With EU funding facilitating investment in advanced machinery, Nepedoni became a key player in Bulgaria’s competitive printing market, now employing approximately 150 staff. Seeking operational excellence, Nepedoni previously attempted implementing local software solutions, which consistently failed to meet their specialized demands.

After encountering Sistrade at drupa 2024, Nepedoni identified a promising partner in Sistrade, recognizing its extensive industry-specific expertise and comprehensive module offerings, such as detailed cost estimation, production planning, and prepress optimization.

Darina Petrova, marketing manager at Nepedoni, states: “The biggest challenge was knowing our precise production costs. Sistrade provided us the transparency and accuracy we needed to compete.”

Since beginning their implementation of Sistrade, Nepedoni has already realized tangible benefit - most notably in procurement processes - dramatically reducing order preparation time from an entire day to just one hour. Furthermore, Sistrade’s advanced imposition modules have streamlined prepress operations, reducing preparation times for new packaging designs.

Darina Petrova added: “Now we can quickly identify and correct inefficiencies, significantly improving productivity.”

Nepedoni anticipates that continued integration will further optimize staff productivity, enhance cost accuracy, and bolster their competitive position in Bulgaria’s crowded printing market. [PDF Version]
